Comic Book Online Database

What are some online comic book databases (like the late htmlcomics) that allow you to view comics?
Due to the recent closure of htmlcomics, I along with many other people are now unable to view comics online, reminisce about childhood memories, get caught up in the latest with our heroes, etc. After much searching, I have been unable to locate any other site that is like htmlcomics. There are sites that host user-created comics (amateur comics) and/or webcomics, but I am looking for sites that host actual scans of real comics from publishers such as Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, etc. Also, I am not looking for links to sites that provide ’samples’ of comics (such as the comics that can be found on a publishers website). If you know of any sites that fit this description, please, I (and those who also used htmlcomics) beg of you to post the link to these websites.
P.S. Please do not create posts that relate to legal issues or piracy
googled “marvel comics online” and found this link: http://www.lorencollins.net/freecomic/
hope that helps somewhat
