You can glue down solid wood to be installed on a concrete floor grade?
No, not 4.3 or 5.8 inches, hardwood floors. The wood is lost his rule in the drying process. That's why manufacturers type hammer nails are used to straighten and pin the wood to the base. Your only option is a laminated wood which is much more stable than solid wood and can be attached to a properly cured concrete slab. The main problem with this installation method is the plain concrete (Is the standard mode). You can find holes in the floor where the concrete falls. Good luck!
