What college major do I need to enroll in to be a comic book writer?

I want to write for a comic book company. I was wondering what are some good schools that offer creative writing as a major. Is creative writing the correct college major? Is there another major I need to do? If so what is it.

I’d say English or Journalism Major at NYU or somewhere in Manhattan, it’s close to the offices of DC and Marvel (and MAD which is still entirely freelanced). And there’s probably a lot of room in the journalism department lately.
